Hot Bods 2K7

Last night Shasta and I tried our hand at Karaoke. It is a difficult thing to choose the right song to participate in something like this. You've only got a few minutes to choose, and there's pressure to find something cool, that you MIGHT be able to sing, so learn from our mistakes:

1) Pick a song that doesnt have long guitar solos, which we all learned on my rendition of "Sweet Child O Mine".

2)Pick a song that you know the words to, not just any song you like from the radio, hm hmm, Shasta and Gwen Stefani.

3) The song must be peppy and clapable, everyone was pained with Toni Braxton's "Unbreak My Heart" performed by that weird girl in the red jacket.

We had a great time. It was our last night with Gionata since he's leaving in just a few days to get back on the road, and back to being wild and untamed. He, however, has an incredible voice and shamed us both when he belted out his karaoke song, "Heaven".

I have put a little nightly routine together for us which I like to call, "Hot Bodies 2K7". This is my solution to coming home to my dearest clients with washboard abs rather than a Tim Tam Tummy. We walk a LOT here with the public transit, and I bust my back at work 5 days a week...but its easy to for me to use food as my comfort. (Jess, you recall the chicky's and 10lbs. I gained in Costa Rica??)....Well no sir! Not here! I'm coming back better than I left. And remember clients...this is my form of ACCOUNTABILITY because we ALL need it. Thats probably why I am the best personal trainer in the world, because I understand the lure of the chocolate. Until next time kiddies!!!

OK, Carisse - I needed to hear that word from you: ACCOUNTABILITY! Noni's been a bad girl the last few days, but tomorrow, it's back to CVC for a good workout! I miss you a LOT, but I know you're having the time of your life. Would have given anything to hear Karoke Night !! Have fun, but hurry home! I love your blog and the pics are GREAT!

Thank you for adjusting so I can comment on yours as well. I realize we havn't met but Shasta told me how much I'd like you if we ever DID meet. So I wanted to say hi and that your blog about Shasta's greatness is 100% dead on. She's impacted me a ton in only a short amount of time together.
And also, she was right, your blog is quite entertaining and you do seem great.
May God continue to bless each of you.

I just want you to know that I tried to look at some of the pics posted on Shasta's site, and THR has blocked them! What kind of scandalous photos are you two posting to the internet?!! I'm appalled!

and another thing: do they always hold karaoke nights in a meth-lab down there? not that there's anything wrong with that....I'm just asking.

This isn't really relevant to this specific entry, but I just thought I'd give you a yummy treat tip. I don't know if you and Shasta are planning a visit to New Zealand at any point (which I HIGHLY recommend), but if you make it over there you should definitely check out this ice cream called Tip Top (I think?). All I remember is that it's the most delicious ice cream I've ever had EVER (and I know my ice cream!) and it's based out of NZ...Auckland maybe? I don't remember, but it was the most wonderful stuff in the world. You should definitely go have some!

That's the funniest picture I've seen in a long time. A classic Carisse face for sure. I can actually HEAR y'all's voices. Can't stop laughing... I love you. :)
